A few more episodes have come out and one has been leaked early. A lot of stuff to talk about
Tuesday was Rising Tides, Crashing Skies: Basically a Ronaldo episode, not much here for me.
Wednesday was Keeping It Together. After the episode two things were being discussed by the fandom; 1. Peridot's return, on one hand people are excited that she's back and that she's shown off some powers (walk walking, electric fingers, helicopter fingers). And 2. Homeworld is apparently mashing gem shards (of the gem's former comrades) into forced fusions that are pretty unnerving. This causes a mental breakdown in Garnet that almost causes her to unfuse.
I've said this to someone else on here: Permanent Fusion has been compared to sex, Malachite (Lapis and Jasper) has been compared to an abusive relationship, while the abomination seen in this episode is basically rape. Though I feel like this theory comes apart when compared to Opal, Sugulite, and Alexandrite (which they did only for their own personal means, Ex: helping Steven or smashing stuff).
SPOILERS NEXT!!
Now for the leaked episode which I've just watched a few minutes ago: We Need To Talk. Greg tells Steven and Connie about how he learned about gem fusion. This episode can be filled with a metaphor for consent, how a relationship should have the two people talking and not just being physical. We also get to see a bit more of Rose, a musical number by her and a Rose/Pearl fusion named Rainbow Quartz. But the one thing that bugs me is how Pearl acts in this episode.
Pearl has already gotten crap from Space Race, Rose's Scabbard, Sworn to the Sword and now this. People are saying that Pearl's infatuation with Rose is VERY unhealthy. In the new episode she get's super jealous does the fusion dance (once again a metaphor for sex for some people) and mic drops in front of Greg as if to say "We can do this amazing thing and you can't". She calls Greg a phase and is pretty much being possessive of Rose, even at the end she seems all upset about Rose choosing a human over her.
So basically, Pearl is my least favorite character now.
Now I KNOW that having flaws can make a good character, it fleshes them out and stuff. But I still don't like this character's attitude. MAYBE if they get her to completely move on from Rose and accept that while Rose didn't return her feelings she was still a great friend I'll get over myself, but until then Pearl treating other people like garbage because of her obsession with Rose and disregard for not only her own, but INNOCENT AND FRAGILE HUMANS' safety will be a constant slap in the face for me.
Feel free to disagree with me.
This has been a rant by me.
P.S. I hear Lapis is going to come back next, BRING ON MALACITE VS SUGULITE RAP BATTLE PLZ!

I want to draw more DB Combatants in TOH Covens
I made Ragna in the Abomination Coven and I want to do others Who should I use for the Oracle Coven? Described as the following on The Owl House wiki The Oracle Coven focuses on fortune-telling, spirits, and various mind-based magics. Oracles can use their magic to tell the future, look into distant locations, and use their crystal balls for various purposes, such as telepathic communication, launching a blast of dark purple fire, sinking into a mobile shadow on the ground, summoning spirit entities of either fire or shadow, or creating large psychic energy constructs like a giant hand or a giant energy dome. Crystal balls can come in various sizes; some can even be small enough to be the charm on a necklace. An oracle's magic can be disabled by breaking their method of control, such as their crystal ball. So who do you think I should have for the Oracle Coven? My options are Mitsuru Kirijo (Persona series) Barbara Gordon/Batgirl/Oracle (DC Comics) Amy Rose (Sonic the Hedgehog
My Death Battle crossover garbage ideas
I just really want to scream into the void of the internet about this. A while ago me and my friend were having fun talking about the idea of a crossover involving the combatants that have appeared in the web series Death Battle. It'd take place in some weird crossover void dimension that some crossover games take place in. It was really just for fun shitposty ideas. I mean a good chunk of DB combatants are heroes, and a few are pretty powerful, but we also got a lot of pretty powerful villains. Eventually, we threw caution to the wind and just said the entire worlds would crossover. Any franchise that has appeared on Death Battle. Of course, this would just be a massive clusterf#$k with the number of franchises and the power gap, as well as the degree of scale from worlds like John Wick/James Bond to BS like DC/Marvel. But I made the statement that "normal street-tier characters can be on the Justice League/Avengers and they matter, so just because someone isn't
Hero Artifact Master Post
Mainly using this as a Master Post so if/when I make more Hero/Protagonist Artifacts I won't need to link all of them The idea behind them was something similar to the Sacred Gears from High School DxD, because I love how modular those are. A lot of the shit that the MC Issei's Sacred Gear can do is connected to a bunch of connected to him. Be it having Ddraig the Welsh Dragon within, having 3 Ascalons, a jewel from his rival Vali's Divine Dividing, using the Evil Pieces for the Triania and Cardinal Crimson Promotion, and the power of Great Red and Ophis for Diabolos Dragon, and Apocalypse Answerarms with Ryuuteimaru. As my friend Rex on tumblr said: "some of these powers sound like they came out of a power fantasy isekai, but a really fun one that knows to limit the mc at first before really letting them go ham in the last few episodes" So I wanted to make some kind of symbolic weapon with other protagonists from throughout fiction. Shirou Emiya Ren Amamiya/Joker
Death Battle Heroes Team Up
I and my friend have been talking about this idea for a while. Imagine all of the heroes/anti-heroes that have shown up in Death Battle The candidates for this team are anyone who can be considered a full-on hero (fight bad guys and save the world), or even an anti-hero (same but maybe with darker/more brutal methods/motivations, Red Hood, Venom became bros with Spidey later on IIRC, etc.), and they must have appeared on Death Battle, but I am willing to extend it to characters who have appeared in the animation but aren't the advertised combatants (Trish and Jeanne) or are basically confirmed (Ruby Rose and Maka Albarn + Soul Eater), just to add some variety to their franchise reps b/c DB has a shit load of Marvel and DC and many franchises have like 1-2 reps with many of them not even having their main character yet. I imagine this crossover taking place in some weird nexus outside of space-time so we don't have to deal with the complete consequences of their settings crossing
